We all know that they block the light during savasana or meditation and make it more comfortable for the eye, especially when there is bright day light... But did you know that the eye pillows actually do so much more than simply blocking the light? There is even research that shows that 10 minutes use of an eye pillow daily, can help calm the body and mind, and noticeably reduce the stress levels.

DARKNESS: The eye pillow has double casing made from cotton, which helps block out the light. The removal of light makes it easier for you to concentrate more in meditation or savasana. It can also help you fall asleep faster at night.

THE WEIGHT: The flaxseed and lavender seed filling creates soft pressure and just enough weight to help your nervous system to calm down by regulating your vagus nerve. Vagus nerve being part of the parasympathetic nervous system, is responsible for sending the body the relaxations signals, improving digestion, decreasing your blood pressure and heart rate, a phenomenon that's called oculocardiac reflex.
